In March, 2010, I will have a one-man show in the Mallin Gallery at the Kansas City Artists Coalition. I will be showing work from three series including four new large paintings from my series “So…What Holds Up Your Sky?” At the conclusion of the exhibition, these four large paintings will be donated to the Truman Medical Center as part of their Healing Arts Program established by their curator, Caleb Fey. Recently, I was contacted by former NFL star wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, Eddie Kennison, to participate in awareness raising event initiated by the Keep A Breast Foundation. Annually, they host several galas across the country to raise awareness and money by auctioning the plaster chest casts of people local to the area of the gala. These casts have been painted by local artists. I got to paint Eddie’s cast and you can see it as well as get more information about the Generation Pink event by clicking here

I am currently in the development stage of a collaboration with Kansas City based metal sculptor Reilly Hoffman. We hope to complete a project which reflects our mutual attraction to feathers and wings. For more about Reilly click here.
