Figurative

My beginning interests and first formal training dealt with the figure. And it continues to be a major source of interest to me. The inspiration for my subject matter ranges from photographs in newspapers and magazines, to advertisements, religious references and my own dreams. In my figurative work, I always strive to present a strong subject – often irreverent, unorthodox or mysterious – but always powerful.
