Guardian

My figurative paintings often feature angels with lush, meticulously painted wings. There is a certain spiritual grandeur in the span of wings. So a series began to develop in which I combined wings with the concept of the grid system embedded in my Urban Totems. What emerged is a series I’m continuing to develop, in which a protective angel wing spreads over the grid. These paintings deal abstractly with lost souls, justice, and endangered species.
